The Baie-des-Sables wind park entered operation in November 2006. With a capacity of 109.5 MW, it was the first wind park developed by Cartier Wind Energy. Built entirely on private land, the 73-wind turbine park was a success in terms of its construction, schedule compliance, integration and respect for communities. It is located on land in the Baie-des-Sables and Métis-sur-Mer municipalities.
