News

The Baie-des-Sables wind farm was put into operation in November 2006.

The latter, with a power of 109.5 MW, was the first wind farm built by Cartier Énergie Éolienne.

The Anse-à-Valleau wind farm is located in the town of Gaspé and was put into operation in November 2007.

This wind farm, with a capacity of 100.5 MW and 67 wind turbines, was the second wind farm to be built by Cartier Énergie Éolienne.

The Carleton wind farm was put into operation in November 2008.

This wind farm, with a capacity of 109.5 MW and 73 wind turbines, is located entirely on public land.

The Gros-Morne wind farm has a rated power of 211.5 MW.It was built in two phases.

The first phase of 100.5 MW and 67 wind turbines was completed at the end of November 2011. Phase 2, requiring the installation of 74 wind turbines, was finalized in November 2012.

The Montagne Sèche wind farm is located in the municipalities of Cloridorme and Petite-Vallée.

It was built at the same time as Phase 1 of the Gros Morne wind farm, in 2010 and 2011.
